What file should I upload?
The original photo from your phone or camera, in JPEG, PNG, WebP or iPhone (HEIC) format, up to 25 MB. Avoid screenshots and photos saved from Facebook, Instagram or text messages; those are shrunk and print soft.
How do I know if my photo is big enough?
When you add a photo on the order page, we measure it against the size you picked and tell you right away if it's too small, good, or great. As a rough guide, an 8×10 needs about 1200×1500 pixels and a 24×36 about 2400×3600.
Will part of my photo be cut off?
Sometimes a little. Print sizes and camera photos aren't always the same shape. The order page tells you roughly how much will be trimmed, and Trevor centers the photo unless your notes say otherwise.
Gloss or matte?
Gloss gives the richest color and contrast and is our pick for most photos. Matte cuts glare, so it's better across from a window or under bright lights.
How are metal prints different from canvas?
Canvas is ink on fabric, usually behind no glass. Metal is ink bonded into a coated aluminum surface, so colors look deeper, fine detail is sharper, and you can wipe it clean. Canvas has a softer, textured look; metal looks modern and bright.
How do I clean a metal print?
Dust it with a soft cloth. For smudges, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or a little glass cleaner, sprayed on the cloth, not the print. No abrasive pads.
Can metal prints go outside or in a bathroom?
They handle humidity well, so a bathroom is fine. For outdoor use, ask first [[TBD Trevor]]; direct sun fades any printed image over time.
How do I hang it?
Hanging hardware and mounts are being finalized [[TBD]]. Every print will arrive ready to hang.
How long does an order take?
Production is [[TBD business days]] after your file is approved, plus shipping time. See shipping.
Do you offer custom sizes or bulk pricing?
Yes, both are quoted by hand. Use the quote form and Trevor will reply with a price and a secure payment link.
Can you add text, fix an old photo or make a collage?
Yes, as a quoted job. Send the photos and describe what you'd like on the quote form.
Do I need to own the photo?
You need to own it or have permission to print it. Professional photos usually come with print rights; check your photographer's agreement. We may decline files that look like someone else's copyrighted work.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our site.
What happens to my photo after printing?
Your file is stored privately and used only for your order. We delete order files after [[TBD days]]. See our privacy policy.
Do you offer a military or veteran discount?
